Derby: electric roller shutters
Electric roller shutters in Derby start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
If your premises are in Derby, we survey the opening before any price is given and the electric roller shutters are then made to those dimensions.
Local planning
Planning in Derby goes through Derby City Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. You will know before you order.
Price guide
Electric roller shutters start at around £1,450 plus VAT. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. Your price is held for 90 days.
Lead times
Manufacture usually takes 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Derby unit is normally one to two days on site. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
The product
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. You can specify tubular motor inside the barrel; key switch, remote or both.
Our Derbyshire area
Derby is in Derbyshire covering DE postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Ilkeston, Glossop and Buxton.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Derbyshire?
Yes. We cover Derby and the rest of Derbyshire, including Ilkeston, Glossop and Buxton.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
