Timescales
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
The product
Twin-wall laths are filled with foam, which reduces heat loss and draughts through the opening and takes the edge off street noise. Common specifications: quieter operation than single-skin laths; twin-wall aluminium laths.
Nearby
We treat Mansfield as part of our Nottinghamshire round covering NG postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Newark-on-Trent, Worksop and Nottingham.
Local planning
In Mansfield, applications go to Mansfield District Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. The survey confirms which rules apply.
