Coventry: security doors
Security doors in Coventry start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Around Coventry, the first step is a free site survey and the security doors are then made to those dimensions.
From order to fitted
Allow 3-4 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
Specification notes
Rear and side doors are where most forced entries happen because they are out of sight. Popular choices include steel leaf and frame; multi-point locking.
Our West Midlands area
We treat Coventry as part of our West Midlands round and the CV postcode area, so the team is regularly nearby in Halesowen, Stourbridge and Wednesbury.
Permission and Coventry City Council
In Coventry, applications go to Coventry City Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Costs
Budget from £1,450 plus VAT as a starting point. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
Questions from Coventry customers
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of West Midlands?
Yes. We cover Coventry and the rest of West Midlands, including Halesowen, Stourbridge and Wednesbury.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
