For businesses in Dudley, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo so the quotation for the security doors is a real figure.
Planning rules in Dudley
In Dudley, applications go to Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Price guide
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
Timescales
Expect 3-4 weeks after survey for manufacture. The install itself rarely takes more than two days for a standard opening. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
Rear and side doors are where most forced entries happen because they are out of sight. Common specifications: options tested to LPS 1175; suitable for rear service access.

FAQs
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
