Lincoln: security grilles
Security grilles in Lincoln start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
If your premises are in Lincoln, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced so the security grilles arrive made to fit.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,150 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Installation in Lincoln is usually a day or two once everything is made. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
The product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Options include keeps the display visible; powder-coated to match the frontage.
Where we work around Lincoln
Lincoln falls within Lincolnshire covering LN postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Skegness, Boston and Grantham.
Permission and City of Lincoln Council
The local planning authority for Lincoln is City of Lincoln Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
Common questions
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Lincolnshire?
Yes. We cover Lincoln and the rest of Lincolnshire, including Skegness, Boston and Grantham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
