Price guide
Budget from £1,150 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
How long it takes
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Installation in Oswestry is usually a day or two once everything is made. We can fit on a day the business is shut.
About the product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: folds back into the reveal during trading; keeps the display visible.
Coverage
We treat Oswestry as part of our Shropshire round and the SY postcode area, so the team is regularly nearby in Market Drayton, Telford and Shrewsbury.
Local planning
Planning in Oswestry goes through Shropshire Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. You will know before you order.
Before you book
Do I need planning permission in Oswestry?
Like-for-like replacements usually do not. Changing the appearance of the frontage, fitting an external roller shutter or adding an illuminated sign usually needs consent from Shropshire Council. We tell you which applies at survey.

Lead time for security grilles is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Installation itself is usually one to two days on site for a standard unit.
Can you work outside trading hours?

Is the survey free?
Yes. The survey is free and carries no obligation to go ahead.
