Tamworth: security grilles
Security grilles in Tamworth start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For Tamworth shops and offices, every job begins with a visit to measure the opening and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
Price guide
Security grilles start at around £1,150 plus VAT. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Installation in Tamworth is usually a day or two once everything is made. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
Coverage
Our Tamworth jobs sit within Staffordshire including the B postcodes, and we are often working close by in Leek, Stone and Uttoxeter.
Local planning
Planning in Tamworth goes through Tamworth Borough Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Common questions
Do you cover the whole of Staffordshire?
Yes. We cover Tamworth and the rest of Staffordshire, including Leek, Stone and Uttoxeter.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
What do you need from me to quote?
The address, roughly what you want, and a photo of the current frontage. Opening sizes help but are not essential, because we measure at survey anyway.
