Wellingborough: security grilles
Security grilles in Wellingborough start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For Wellingborough shops and offices, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,150 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
From order to fitted
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Fitting a standard Wellingborough unit is normally one to two days on site. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
What gets fitted
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Common specifications: retractable lattice or fixed bar designs; folds back into the reveal during trading.

Permission and North Northamptonshire Council
Planning in Wellingborough goes through North Northamptonshire Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We check which applies to your unit at survey.
