Local planning
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council decides planning in Tipton. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Costs
Budget from £145 plus VAT as a starting point. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
How long it takes
Expect Often within the week for manufacture. On site, most Tipton jobs take one or two days. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
What gets fitted
Most shutter failures come down to a motor fault, a broken spring or a lath that has jumped its guide. Popular choices include guide and bottom rail damage; written condition report after a service.
Coverage
We treat Tipton as part of our West Midlands round across the DY postcode district, so the team is regularly nearby in Cradley Heath, Aldridge and Kingswinford.
