Oldbury: electric roller shutters
Electric roller shutters in Oldbury start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Across Oldbury, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced and the electric roller shutters are then made to those dimensions.
Lead times
Lead time is typically 2-3 weeks after survey. Fitting a standard Oldbury unit is normally one to two days on site. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
What gets fitted
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Common specifications: key switch, remote or both; manual override for power cuts.
Where we work around Oldbury
We treat Oldbury as part of our West Midlands round across the B postcode district, which puts it on the same route as Halesowen, Stourbridge and Wednesbury.
Do you need consent?
In Oldbury, applications go to Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
Costs
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
