Malvern: security grilles
Security grilles in Malvern start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
For Malvern shops and offices, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo which is how the security grilles end up the right size.
Local planning
In Malvern, applications go to Malvern Hills District Council. A straight replacement is normally permitted, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. The survey confirms which rules apply.
Costs
Guide price: from £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
From order to fitted
Manufacture usually takes 2-3 weeks after survey. On site, most Malvern jobs take one or two days. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
What gets fitted
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
