Worcestershire
Worcester: security grilles
Security grilles in Worcester start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Around Worcester, we start by measuring the actual opening, not a photo and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
Timescales
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Installation in Worcester is usually a day or two once everything is made. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
Specification notes
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
Where we work around Worcester
We treat Worcester as part of our Worcestershire round across the WR postcode district, and we are often working close by in Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Malvern.
Local planning
In Worcester, applications go to Worcester City Council. Swapping like for like is usually fine, though external shutters and lit signs normally need approval. You will know before you order.
