Newport: security grilles
Security grilles in Newport start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Across Newport, the first step is a free site survey and the security grilles are then made to those dimensions.
From order to fitted
Allow 2-3 weeks after survey from drawings to delivery. Installation in Newport is usually a day or two once everything is made. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.
About the product
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. Popular choices include folds back into the reveal during trading; keeps the display visible.
Coverage
We treat Newport as part of our Shropshire round and the TF postcode area, which puts it on the same route as Ludlow, Market Drayton and Telford.
Planning rules in Newport
Planning in Newport goes through Telford & Wrekin Council. Replacing an existing frontage in the same style seldom needs permission, but a changed appearance, an external shutter or an illuminated sign usually does. You will know before you order.
How much?
Security grilles start at around £1,150 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
