Nottingham: security grilles
Security grilles in Nottingham start from about £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
If your premises are in Nottingham, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced which is how the security grilles end up the right size.
Costs
Guide price: from £1,150 plus VAT for a standard opening. Size, specification and strip-out decide the exact number. Once issued, the price is fixed for 90 days unless the specification changes.
Timescales
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Installation in Nottingham is usually a day or two once everything is made. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.
What gets fitted
A grille secures the opening while leaving the frontage visible, which suits units inside shopping centres and anywhere a solid curtain is not wanted. You can specify powder-coated to match the frontage; retractable lattice or fixed bar designs.
Where we work around Nottingham
Nottingham is in Nottinghamshire including the NG postcodes, which puts it on the same route as Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent and Worksop.
Local planning
Nottingham City Council decides planning in Nottingham. Swapping like for like is usually fine, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. The survey confirms which rules apply.
