Nottingham: electric roller shutters
Electric roller shutters in Nottingham start from about £1,450 plus VAT for a standard opening, with a free survey and a written quotation before anything is ordered.
Across Nottingham, a surveyor measures the unit before anything is priced which is how the electric roller shutters end up the right size.
How much?
The entry price is about £1,450 plus VAT. Your quote depends on the opening size, the finish and how easy access is. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
How long it takes
Expect 2-3 weeks after survey for manufacture. Fitting a standard Nottingham unit is normally one to two days on site. Early starts and closed-day fitting are both possible.
About the product
The motor sits inside the barrel and the shutter is run from a key switch, a remote or both. Options include key switch, remote or both; manual override for power cuts.
Coverage
We treat Nottingham as part of our Nottinghamshire round and the NG postcode area, so the team is regularly nearby in Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent and Worksop.
Do you need consent?
In Nottingham, applications go to Nottingham City Council. Like-for-like work rarely needs consent, whereas a new look, an outside shutter box or a lit fascia generally needs an application. We flag it at survey so it never delays the fit.
FAQs
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of Nottinghamshire?
Yes. We cover Nottingham and the rest of Nottinghamshire, including Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent and Worksop.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
